warped reflections

My daughter took an art class in Silver Spring and everytime we walked by, this is what I saw. Although it is technically in Silver Spring not DC.. I like it and wanted to share.

We're on vacation... Thank you for visiting. I shall respond to comments when I return.

have a bright sunshiney day!

As a girl who was raised in southwest USA, I am always in awe of the tulips, daffodils and all the other bloomin' things around here. Each of the many cities in which we have lived have brought my attention to new and (to me) exciting things growing in the world at large. My daughter and I both stopped dead in our tracks to check out these bright little blossoms.

They just look like a little bit of sunshine to me!

Carnegie Institution of Washington

The Carnegie Instution of Washington is on P & 16th Streets NW DC. This picture shows more blooming tulips. Unfortunately, the booms don't last long. In a weeks time the petals are stripped from the stems leaving them naked. Thankfully, other things will begin to bloom shortly! =)
