This bronze lion sculpted by Raymond Kaskey is part of the National Law Enforcerment Officer's Memorial. The names of fallen officers are engraved along the "pathway of remembrance." An adult lion protecting its cubs is at each pathway entrance symbolizing the protective role of our law officers. This memorial is located outside of the Judiciary Square metro stop between E and F streets and 4th and 5th streets, across from the National Building Museum.
