Monday Monday
I hope your Monday looks better than his! This sculpture of Andrei Sakharov Andrei Sakharov is at the base of the Russia House on Connecticut Avenue near Dupont Circle. It was a gift of Peter Shapiro, and American sculptor of Russian Decent.
I love its expressiveness.

Nice photo and nice sculpture. Definitely would catch your attention as you walked past - not to mention, it might make a good aspirin model!!
Very very expressive. Looks like he has the troubles of the world weighing heavily on his mind.
I know it is crass, but when I look at this photo, all I can think of is that annoying ad: Head-On, apply directly to the forehead!
HeadOn
