Sunflower in the City

One city site I really enjoy is the creative ways people find to grow their garden. Often it will be a small plot of land, maybe 3 by 6 feet, and crammed full of love. Sunflowers are popular summer stock. These are the six foot variety. I like the contrast of this natural beauty in the urban setting.

LOVELY! Can you please try to get the smaller gardens? We live on a hill, and our garden has 7 small 'rooms' (now that's a fancy way of saying we can't do anything really fancy because it's all over the place!!) and I've been trying to think of them separately.... NOT that we're eager/deligent Kiwi gardeners, but I'd love to see how DC gardeners do it. Pretty please.

Beautiful! I love the detail of the center. If you look closely you can see a distinct pattern of curves and angles. Very nice!
