I don't know the official measurement, but we got a lot of snow, maybe 3-4 inches. It will probably all be mush later today if Accuweather is at all accurate... but then.. they didn't accurately predict snowfall... until it was actually falling... for yesterday.

Skating at the Sculpture Garden

During the winter months, even those months that don't quite feel like winter ~ people in DC can enjoy outdoor ice skating in the Sculpture Garden. When I took this it was a warm day of fifty degrees. That is a far cry from the weather we've had this week which has been below 30, with a real feel in the single digit range!

will it snow again? This snow was gone in a day. The big scare for tomorrow is icy roads. Time will tell. The weather people have not been all that accurate in predicting weather conditions lately.
