Would be interested to hear the story behind how this segway gang was formed. They look harmless. ;)
They seem sttange contraptions. Not seen any over here yet, except on a couple of TV shows.
who are the segway gang? are they good or bad?
Hi Jenni,
Ahh, the DC gremlins came back!
Dennis
They used to drive me crazy, blocking the sidewalks and all. Then I discovered they offer the same type of tours in my new town. I am surrounded!
UGH>>> They are taking over the world!!!!
=)
I was kind of singing "My Boyfriend's Back" in my head while looking at this photo, but then I got to the part with the engine revving and all I could come up with is a barely adubile "whhhhiirrrrrr."
So not scary.
hee hee
whhhhhhhhirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
These things look so strange! But I guess they serve a purpose. Nothing like this around here!
I took a Segwaty tour - too fun!!!!
Yes, I too want to know more about this gang. Do they have conventions, like the Harley Davidson gang?
Does it make me evil to hatehatehate the Segway gang? I used to work next door to a Segway rental office (14th and I, across the street from that big park) and at least once a day everyone on my floor seemed to have a near-miss with an untrained Segway rider (not driver--they weren't in that much control of themselves!). They ought to require a license for those things!
LOL< MIchelle.... I think that makes you a local! LOL ;)
These things have driven me nuts for ages.... though I think I can blame the guy I first saw demonstrating these things... we were in NYC at FAO Schwartz... and there really was no room for some dude to zoom around a toy store on one of those things... I think he can be credited for planting my not so fond feelings of these things! LOL
I know that office on 14th & I... and I used to be annoyed walking by there because there was almost always ONE guy hanging around .. zooming around... in the way of pedestrian traffic... which is one of my pet peeves!
