finally a sign of winter!

We got some snow yesterday. Actually, it fell for a few hours, but unfortunately it is melting. Still, we had a good time playing (pictures of that another day), building miniature snow creatures, and tossing the white stuff at each other. This picture was taken from the roof of my building, looking at Scott Circle.

Happy Winter!

if you click the little 'from the roof' or Scott Circle labels, you will see this same view only green!

Scott Circle at the beginning of June

This was taken from the roof over the weekend. You can see the subtle differences of time and seasonby comparing it with this rainy day in April.

Saturday's Rainy day rooftop shot.

We didn't get out at all on Saturday, unless you count going to the roof to see what we could see. I wish we had thought to take my dad back up there today, when the view was much clearer. Saturday it was just rainy and cold.
