Beautiful pic... Must definitely go there with my kids! I remember having seen, years ago, in another museum of the Smithnian, but I don't remember which one, a really huge and impressive steam engine... Have you ever seen it?

Thank you both! The steam engine is in the National Museum of American History. I shall be sure to get some pictures of that next time we visit! It is very impressive indeed.
I love this photo - it's very exciting and dramatic, even though the rockets are standing still.
It makes me want to ride one of those rockets out through the ceiling, like the Great Glass Elevator!
I don't know why the Smithsonian brings out the thief in me.
