Heads will roll

Walking on 14th st NW, what a surprise to find these giant heads inside an otherwise empty space. They can been seen at 1520 14th St and are the work of Ledelle Moe, sponsored by G fine Arts and Metropolis, the owner of the commercial space. The work is titled Memorial (Collapse) and contains three enormous heads hand sculpted out of steel and concrete.

Well that's something you wouldn't expect to see. They look kind of cool.

I like it...mostly because it's odd and funky. :-)

I love the title. Heads are definitely on a roll here. Nice shot.

Reminds me of a poem: Ozymandis (sp?)--A little startling.

I like the quote "heads will roll" - sounds almost medieval and barbaric but yet, very stoic and to the point - in life and in art, heads will roll =)
